Things to do in Mablethorpe and in Lincolnshire

Enjoy the clean sandy beaches of Mablethorpe (the Star of the East) and walk or cycle along the Promenade to Sutton on Sea. Mablethorpe is an ideal place for family holidays with open beaches, a variety of amusements and leisure activities including its own Skate Park on the sand hills just over from the Beck. Mablethorpe has a fairground, seal sanctuary, cinema and a variety of pubs, cafes and restaurants. Live music and entertainment throughout the summer months can be found in the town to provide a great night out for all the family. Not far away is Queens Park with miniature train, boating lake, crazy golf and bowling green.

Mablethorpe (the Star of the East) is situated on the east coast of Lincolnshire. Inland we have the attractive market towns of Alford with its Craft Market and Spilsby as well as the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds.

Boston famous for being the port of departure for the Pilgrim Fathers and for the Boston Stump (St Boltoph's Church.) The Guildhall Museum houses the prison cells where the Pilgrim Fathers were incarcerated in 1607.

Visit the market town of Alford. Here you will find the Manor House. Alford Manor House is a Grade II listed Building and is one of England's largest thatched Manor Houses. Alford is also famous for it's Craft Market which in now held in the Manor House grounds.
